Job Description:
This position is in Riverside, CA. It is a permanent position. The BTR independently works collection of sales and use tax cases of moderate difficulty including claims of exemption. Assignments are generated from leads provided by the Department of Food and Agriculture and are worked from the office by telephone and through the mail. A personal computer is used to maintain the assignments. Meeting the training requirements of this job may require overnight travel for one or more days. Must be able to work in a high rise building. Interested candidates must meet educational requirements. The position requires incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
