Under direction from the Staff Services Manager I of the Alternative Payment Monitoring unit, the individual selected for this position will be part of a team of Associate Governmental Program Analysts responsible for activities related to the statewide implementation of strategies to monitor Alternative Payment Program(s) (APP). The APPs are funded with State and federal funds that offer an array of child care arrangements for parents, such as in-home care, family child care, and center-based care. The APPs help families arrange child care services and makes payment for those services directly to the child care provider selected by the family. This position was established to accomplish compliance monitoring and reporting workload objectives with particular emphasis in the development and implementation of compliance monitoring practices that will contribute to early detection of fraud and overpayment of program funding. Extensive travel is required.
