Under the supervision of a Senior Landscape Architect, prepares planting and irrigation plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) for major landscaping and habitat restoration projects; prepares erosion control specifications and storm water pollution prevention plans; prepares visual impact assessment technical reports for transportation facility construction projects; performs field investigation work and construction inspection and other related work as required. Position requires skills in computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) and personal computers and possession of a current driver license is desirable.
Applicant’s name must be on the certified personnel list for the Landscape Associate, Caltrans classification. Five positions are available and will consider transfers.
