Job Description:
All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. Incumbent will provide technical support on the Call Center’s Avaya telephone System, Call recording System, and the Call Management System. Troubleshoot and correct hardware and software problems for the Avaya system, Interpretation and analysis of numerous system reports, perform system backups, monitor incoming telephone traffic, ensure system security and maintain system documentation. Assist Call center staff with minor PC issues, provide desktop, printer, and fax machine support. Install/relocate personal computers, printers, and fax machines as needed. Act as liaison with TSD staff in solving PC, BOE applications, or network issues. Must work well independently or as a team member. Training and Development assignments may be considered. The position is located in BOE’s annex location in the Natomas area of Sacramento. Call for duty statement. Position could become permanent.
