JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the general direction of the Manager, IT Asset Management and Service Desk Section of the Operations Management Bureau (OMB), the incumbent is responsible for managing the section’s Workstation Support Unit. Within the scope of this position, the incumbent will plan, organize and direct the activities of staff who are responsible for providing analytical and technical assistance in response to desktop and mobile computing asset requests for hardware and software deployments from the FTB IT Asset Manager and internal customers via enterprise processes. All duties are performed within the framework of the Department’s mission and values, and in accordance with the Department’s Policies and General Procedures.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Excellent colaboration and customer service skills with the ability to address multiple tasks and prioritize
Experience leading a team of technical/analytical staff to successful outcomes
Demonstrated knowledge of FTB business areas and IT needs
Demonstrated knowledge of IT Asset Management policy, standards and process
Experience reengineering existing and implementing new processes
Knowledge of ITIL Framework/ITIL certification
Demonstrated project management skills
Demonstrated performance encouraging positive relationships, creating high job satisfaction, encouraging success, showing understanding, and being trusting and supportive
