Duties: The El Cajon Area has
an immediate opening for a permanent full time Office Assistant (Typing).
Under the general supervision of the Office Services Supervisor II, the
selected candidate will perform a variety of clerical duties. The primary
responsibilities consist of review and process all CHP 180s and associated
paperwork, maintain computerized log of all vehicles stored / impounded, and
maintain suspense file and correspondence on stolen vehicles. Perform other
duties as assigned and provide back-up as needed to the other clerical
Desirable qualifications: Excellent organizational
and people skills, professional communication and telephone skills, good
attendance, punctuality, and dependability, working knowledge of personal
computers, and willingness to be cross-trained in all clerical positions.
