Job Description:
All applicants will be considered. Under the direction of a Business Taxes Administrator I, the Tax Technician I is responsible for the more routine technical duties that may include account maintenance, telephone and receptionist duties. Meeting the training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for one or more days. More than one position may be available. The incumbent will receive $100.00 per month pay differential. This position is located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.

In addition to the Standard State Application (STD. 678), no more than a two-page double spaced typed response to the following questions must be submitted with your application. Supplemental Questionnaire:

1) Using your own experiences, describe the steps or any processes you have used in the past to handle irate phone calls.

2) Describe your experience in resolving competing priority assignments.

3) Please describe your experience and knowledge of computer programs.
