Job Description:
Incumbents will assist Environmental Scientists with managing lab equipment, Chinook salmon specimen inventories, Steelhead/Rainbow trout specimen inventories, and any fishery related specimen.

This position is subject to Post and Bid but all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to Department of Fish and Game employees currently in the Fish and Wildlife Technician classification. If a bid is not awarded, other eligible applicants will be considered. Open to Department of Fish and Game employees who have eligibility to transfer to this classification only.

Please note: Possession of minimum qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If it is determined an applicant does not meet the minimum qualifications, the applications will be forwarded to the State Personnel Board for review and the applicant's name may be removed from the eligibility list.
