Duties: This position
includes operating radio and telephone equipment. Dispatching appropriate
officers and resources to incidents. Answering incoming telephone calls from
the public, allied agencies, officers, and the media.
Desirable qualifications: Must
be able to maintain a good rapport with employees, peers, supervisors, allied
agencies, and the public. Reporting to work on time with a minimum of
absences. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A positive
attitude. Ability to take independent action. Confidentiality is essential in
