Job Description:
Under the direction of the TMS, the leadworker assists the Supv with the following: Ensure employee & work zone safety procedures outlined in the CAL Injury & Illness Programs are followed. Works with crew responsible for preserving & trimming trees on St Hwy Right of Way. Trimming of ornamental & shade trees, & fells dead trees. Inspects trees for diseases, pests, or other damages. Uses & assigns the use of vehicles including aerial equip. Maintains safe operations & controls traffic. Prepare written & computer reports. Daily work is accomplished with one or two climbers. Will be responsible for comprehending instructions & follow outlines, schedules, assignments & deadlines
