Job Description:
All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.This position is in Riverside, CA. The Business Taxes Representative independently works registration, collection, and delinquencies of use tax cases of moderate difficulty including claims of exemption. The accounts are worked from the office by telephone and through the mail. A personal computer is used to obtain and maintain daily assignments, gather information, record actions and enter case notes. Meeting the training requirements of this job may require overnight travel for one or more days. Appointee must be able to work in a high-rise building. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. Interested candidates must meet educational requirements.
