Job Summary: The Senior Programmer Analyst (Specialist) (SrPA (Spec)) leads in the development, maintenance, administration, and management of complex data systems in support of the Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) Program. The SrPA (Spec) works independently and as the lead programmer for the Data Management Team (DMT) of the Epidemiology Unit (EU) in the collection and collation of data acquired through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) with a focus on quality control and quality assurance.
