JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Bankruptcy Claims Team is looking for an enthusiastic and talented new team member. Under the general direction of an Administrator I, Bankruptcy Section, the incumbent is primarily responsible for preparation and processing of Bankruptcy Claims, updating and maintenance of Bankruptcy databases, and resolution of Bankruptcy fallout reports. Due to the nature of the work, PC skills are necessary
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS :
- Excellent work ethic and attendance
- Knowledge of, and ability to analyze account data in Taxpayer Information (TI), Business Entities Tax System (BETS), Accounts Receivable Collections System (ARCS), Enterprise-Wide Bankruptcy System (EWBS), Public Access to Court Electronic Records System (PACER)
- Ability to follow direction, adhere to procedures, and effectively use resources
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work and willingness to shift priorities to meet program goals
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Sense of humor
WHO MAY APPLY : Current state employees with status in the above classification or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former state employees who can reinstate into this class or persons who are reachable on a current employment list for this classification. A training and development assignment (T & D) will also be considered. All appointments are subject to SROA/Surplus hiring provisions.
