Job Description:
All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. This position is in Sacramento (Natomas), CA. The BTR independently works collection of sales and use tax cases of moderate difficulty including claims of exemption. Assignments are generated from leads provided by EDD and are worked from the office by telephone and through the mail. A personal computer is used to obtain and maintain daily assignments, gather information, record actions and enter case notes. Meeting the training requirements of this job may require overnight travel for one or more days. Interested candidates must meet educational requirements. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted.
