JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the general direction of the Administrator I, the incumbent will be responsible for a wide variety of analytical administrative functions that include responsiblities relating to Facilities, Travel, Training, Procurement, Contracts and PC Coordination. Primary responsibilities will include divisional level Facilities and Travel/Training liaison tasks with a focus on strong organizational, multi-tasking and customer service skills.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Knowledge and understanding of Audit’s organizational structure, processes, responsibilities, and business needs
Familiarity with departmental Facilities, Travel, Training, Procurement, and IT related processes
Flexibility and demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize varying assignments
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify alternatives, and draw sound conclusions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills
Experience working with staff at all levels
Experience working productively in both an independent and team setting
Detail oriented and ability to proceed from general directions, strong initiative
Excellent work habits and attendance
Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Word/Excel
Working knowledge of ASPEN
Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating with various departmental representatives and stakeholders
Working knowledge of CALaters
Working knowledge of statewide travel rules and policies as well as travel overtime rules and calculation processes
Good time management skills; self-motivated
