Under the direction of the BreEZe Project Manager (DPM II), the Senior Information Systems Analyst (Spec) is responsible for serving as the DCA project office lead for the BreEZe licensing and enforcement system project.
DUTIES: As part of the BreEZe team, this position is responsible for
overseeing project work plan and sub-work plan development to ensure that tasks and milestones are adequately developed and being completed in a timely manner. Respond to special requests from the BreEZe Project Manager. Lead for the BreEZe IT Change Management process, which includes facilitating and coordinating the necessary communication and approval of any project changes and updates. Oversees the BreEZe issue and risk management processes. Serve as an escalation authority for problem resolution resulting from review of technical documents, issues, risks, and requirements to avoid undue project delays. Coordinates and ensures that organizational, policy, and procedure changes are developed and implemented according to the project schedule.
The lead will serve as a program resource in various PM activities such as Special Project Reports budget change proposals, project work plans, communication planning, risk assessment and contingency planning. This person will also participate in the development and management of project office plans for the BreEze Project. Interfaces directly with contractors to ensure technical obligations satisfy all objectives and expectations.
The incumbent may be required to permanently work swing shift and/or be placed on stand by/call back status.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: The incumbent should possess excellent leadership, mentoring, and customer service skills and experience. In addition, the incumbent should have exemplary analytical and communication skills (written and verbal). Experience in project management activities is required.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:: The incumbent should be customer service oriented, positive, motivated, friendly, and a quick learner. Certification from the Project Management Institute is desirable, PMP or CAPMM.
