Job Description:
Under the direct Supervision of the Supervising Correctional Cook II, DOC, the Baker II, CF is responsible for the Bakery Program within the institution. The Baker II, CF is assigned to the Central Kitchen and provides supervision, training and instruction over Youth workers assigned to the Bakery who replace staff for the preparation and processing of baked goods served to the Youth population. May be requested to bake specialty items for special functions. Responsible for maintaining sanitary working conditions to ensure compliance with CAL OSHA regulations. Present shift is 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. May be required to secure the kitchen at 4:00 PM in absence of Supervising Cook I.
