Associate Tax Auditor
Knowledge of local & district tax laws and regulations. Analyzes complex accounts, correct errors, inform Advance Desk of tax shifts, handles threshold requirements and electronic downloads. Assists local governments with tax distribution questions and responds to other inquiries. Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal & written), have strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently. Knowledge of Access with ability to develop queries and linking routines is desirable.
Tax Auditor
Strong oral & written skill, ability to analyze & interpret various types of data & knowledge of sales/use, district tax laws, regulations & allocation procedures. Contacts taxpayers & local jurisdictions to investigate potential tax return adjustments. Reviews and approves determinations for various tax liabilities including district taxes. The Tax Auditor starting salary receives a Hiring-Above-Minimum (HAM) total salary rate of $3262, Range A only.
