Under the general direction of the Division Chief, a Principal Transportation Engineer, the incumbent serves as the Regional Project Manager. The incumbent is responsible for critical projects assigned within a given
region and in accordance with policies and practices governed by Caltrans and participating agencies. Serves as Project Manager and oversees all assigned projects to assure successful project delivery. Supervises and mentors to Senior –level Project Managers, as well as support staff. Represents Agency at public meetings
and acts as primary liaison with outside agencies.
