The Air Resources Board (ARB) is a dynamic and innovative leader in setting and implementing controls to protect and improve air quality for the citizens of California. The Board's scientific and technical programs rely extensively on computer-based information systems. The mission of the Office of Information Services (OIS) is to leverage the most effective information technologies available to achieve ARB's program goals. In addition, the Sr. ISA will aid ARB in complying with California Technology Agency reporting requirements by developing and maintaining required project documents, and applying ITPM methodology in support of projects and efforts. The Sr. ISA will also support OIS compliance with California Statewide Information Management Manual (SIMM) requirements.

The successful candidate should have significant experience in applying standard ITPM methodology in the initiation, planning, implementing, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects. The successful candidate should have knowledge and experience in applying the system development lifecycle and project management processes as defined in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and the State Information Management Manual (SIMM)).
