Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the District Administrator/designee, the Vocational Psychologist (VP) plays a key role in the rehabilitation process by administering, scoring, and interpreting various vocational/psychological tests as required, and providing interpretation of existing psychological/educational/vocational records. Advise DOR staff on assessment tools appropriate to the needs for DOR consumers. The VP provides consultation, and personalized training for the district staff concerning psychological testing and psychological issues.

Preference will be given to candidates who are licensed clinical psychologists.

WHO MAY APPLY: Individuals who have eligibility for appointment to the above class (e.g., transfer, list, reinstatement). Employment provisions as outlined by the Department of Personnel Administration's State Restriction of Appointments (SROA) policy will prevail. May also consider T&D.
