A permanent, full-time vacancy exists in the Human Resources Office for an Associate Personnel Analyst. The candidate should be highly motivated,have the ability to communicate effectively, and display good time management techniques. Candidate should have the ability to perform research in various personnel fields; interpret and apply laws, rules, standards and procedures; develop and administer training programs; analyze and solve difficult technical personnel problems; maintain the confidence and cooperation of others; analyze related data and present ideas and information effectively; train and supervise subordinates; and assume and demonstrate independent responsibility for decisions and actions having broad implications on various aspects of personnel management. A human resources background with experience in position control and classification and pay are required. All methods of appointment will be considered: list eligible, lateral transfers, reinstatements. Applications will be screened and only the most competitive candidates will be interviewed.
