JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Business Entities Section is looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to act as Lead of one of our Resolution Processing teams. Under the direction of a Tax Program Supervisor, the individual who fills this position will lead a group of processing technicians. Duties may include, but are not limited to, performing quality review of the technician's work, providing technical assistance, and training inexperienced staff. The incumbent will assist with review and validation of business entity returns including corporations, limited liability companies (LLCs), and exempt organizations. You may also work with other business areas within FTB and represent the section on various teams and committees.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Knowledge of Business Entity (BE) laws, policies and procedures
Knowledge BE return processing workflow processes
Knowledge of FTB systems, such as BETS, BITS, ADCORR, PASS, INC, BOE and SOS
Effective analytical, technical, time management, and organizational skills
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and problem solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with Management, peers and subordinates
Ability to shift priorities and/or workloads in order to achieve operational and/or program goals
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
Excellent customer service skills to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently
Excellent work ethic and attendance
Flexibility, ability and desire to train and develop staff
