Under the supervision of the Chief of Administrative Support Branch, in the Consultant Services Unit, a SSM I, this position performs a variety of complex contract management and budgetary processes for project related Capital Outlay Support work for District 4. The incumbent will serve as a Contract Administrator, assisting the Contract Managers engaged in the management of Architectural and Engineering (A&E) contracts. Review, evaluate, verify and process A&E contract invoices in timely manner. Track contract expenditures, prepare and analyze expenditures reports. Review processes, systems and procedures of operation and make recommendations for improvements to the Supervisor, an SSM I. May act as a personnel liaison for the Unit. Responsible for all arrangements of consultant interviews, negotiations and “kick-off” meetings, between consultant and the Department. Other duties may include updating and maintaining CSU’s internal website, coordinating training needs and meetings for the Unit. Applications will be screened. Interviews will be held.
