Under the direction of the Office Manager, the incumbent functions as the Administrative Manager over a medium or large field office providing driver license, vehicle registration, control room functions, and other services to the public. The Administrative Manager performs all or a combination of the following duties: is responsible for the daily operation of the field office, plans, organizes, assigns, and directs the work, including new program implementation and determining the accuracy and completeness of reports, surveys, and data entered into an automated system, make or recommend changes in organization, work methods, staffing, employees' assignments. Makes recommendation on facility issues and equipment maintenance. Working knowledge of the QueMatic system is a plus. Critical job skills include strong communication skills (oral and written), supervisory and training, planning and organizing, the ability to multitask, and accuracy and attention to detail. Selected candidate may be required to participate in the DMV Pull Notice Program. A two-part medical is required. Saturday and/or extended office hours may be required.
