Duties: Under the
direct supervision of a Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor, this position
includes operating radio and telephone equipment, dispatching appropriate
officers, and resources to incidents, and answering incoming telephone calls
from the public, allied agencies, officer, and the media.
Must be able to maintain a good rapport with employees, peers, supervisors,
allied agencies, and the public. Must have the ability to work as part of a
team. Have excellent attendance and punctuality.

Persons currently in the Public Safety Dispatcher classification who are
eligible to transfer, should submit a CHP 220, Request for Transfer, to the
