The Torrance Field Office is looking for an enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills for a public contact position. The duties of the position include: cashiering, providing assistance to the public regarding licensing and vehicle registration related matters, reviewing and processing forms and applications pertaining to the licensing of drivers, identification cards, vehicle registration, and occupational licenses. Dependability and punctuality are essential. This position may require rotation throughout neighboring field offices.
Skills to meet job requirements include: well-developed interpersonal skills including sensitivity, patience and flexibility in order to communicate with internal and external customers in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner, verbal and written communication skills, mathematical and cashiering skills, learning ability.
