Job Description:
To be considered for this vacancy you must have a transfer eligibility based on present or past state civil service eligibility or have already passed an exam for this classification. REF 06-631-415 PARF 06-3-173 Under the supervision of a CT Mtce. Supr. incumbent will operate vehicles requiring a Class B Driver’s License with a Tank endorse. and work with and assist in supervising the work of a crew engaged in ldsp. mtce work on planted areas bordering fwys and hwys, or a specific project or area; and if appropriately qualified and properly licensed may operate specified Caltrans equipment. May also be assigned to perform duties usually assigned to the class of Caltrans Hwy Mtce Ldwrkr as part of their normal assignment. Incumbent will perform a variety of activities in support of the Dept’s Storm Water Pollution Program. Position requires unrestricted Class ‘B’ w/Tank and QAC license. Additional desirable qualifications include a working knowledge of the Dept’s automated irrigation system.
