Under the direction of the Maintenance Region Manager, a Maintenance Manager II, the incumbent provides direct supervision over a group of field maintenance supervisors and related operations for Unit 650, Special Crews for District 1.

Incumbent gives direction to field supervisors, manages resources including crew size, budget allocations and expenditures, equipment use and care, monitors data entry into the IMMS database, and manages snow and slide removal, and other storm damage related operations.

Emergency response and work at night and weekends will be required as needed. Provides written project status reports to the MMI II. This position requires extensive travel throughout the assigned area which is spread over two counties, in addition to occasional travel to other parts of the District. Incumbent will travel out of district as required to meet the needs of the department.
