The Mailing Machines Supervisor I position is responsible for supporting and directing approximately eight mailing machine operators and providing general direction to the swing shift employees in a team environment at the DMV Mail Center. The incumbent distributes assignments according to set priorities and is responsible for the organization of various workloads and quality control. Prepares postal reports, recommends training, evaluates operator performance, assists operators with more difficult machine setups, and assesses machine problems. Promotes safe work habits and makes periodic inspections of work area for possible safety or health concerns. Only the most qualified will be interviewed. Position hours are from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Swing Shift hours are from 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
