JOB DESCRIPTION :
The Collections Systems Development Section (CSDS) provides a variety of services to support the Accounts Receivable Management Division’s collection and dependent systems as they relate to Personal Income Tax, Bank and Corporations, Enterprise Wide Bankruptcy System and Enterprise Wide Lien System.
As a member of the Unix Development Team, the incumbent will be under general supervision and independently be responsible to design technical solutions to support business functions using business requirements, system requriements, and system specifications (analysis, design, coding, and unit testing) of incidents and enhancements to the collection systems. The incumbent will coordinate the activities of technical personnel on a multidisciplinary team and provide technical experise advice, and guidance to staff and customers.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Knowledge and experience in database management systems (Sybase, MS SQL, Oracle or DB2)
Knowledge and experience in using Visual Studio (C#), C/C++, COBOL, and SQL
Experience with the UNIX environment and Shell scripts
Experience with application development
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and service levels
Ability to take initiative, multi-task, use tact and good judgment
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
