TTY/TDD 888-220-1750 The Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Staff Information Systems Analyst position in the Technology Services Division (TSD), IT Applications Branch. The Staff Information Systems Analyst (SISA), Specialist serves as the technical test analyst in the Applications Testing Unit under the Applications Requirements and Testing Section. The SISA is responsible for providing technical expertise concerning the analysis of the business requirements and development of the testing program, methodologies and techniques for the Child Support Enforcement (CSE) application system, regression, interface and user validation testing. Under general direction, the incumbent performs the more complex tasks and provides guidance as a team leader for other team members in support of testing activities to support CSE maintenance and operation. Duties include analysis, planning, coordination, preparation, execution, and validation activities required to conduct interface, system and automated regression testing and support user validation testing of application changes and software upgrades to ensure business requirements, system standards and departmental policies have been met. Desirable Qualifications Experience with overall test planning, preparation and execution activities; implementing, executing and maintaining automated test scripts using Rational Testing tools, including ClearQuest, ClearCase and RequisitePro. Experience with HP Mercury tools, including QuickTestPro and Quality Centers. Experience working with DB2 Command Center. Experience writing and using SQL to query databases, writing automated test scripts, writing in VB Script (development and design experience) and UNIX commands. Experience participating in requirements definition and translating business requirements into test scripts. Must be able to perform at the lead level working with other project team members to develop new applications and / or processes to support the Department’s mission and improve its infrastructure capabilities. Projects range from small to complex financial/case management functionality to workload tracking applications. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, responsible and accountable.
