Job Description:
This position is at Nimbus Hatchery. The job involves all aspects of fish culture such as: trapping, spawning, rearing; Transporting Salmon and Steelhead. Be able to operate a variety of equipment including fish pumps, pick ups, and forklift, etc. Incumbent shall posses a valid California driver license class C . Perform Grounds, facility and equipment maintenance. Will be required to work Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and special events. Must be able to lift 40 lbs and be able to work in all types of weather conditions, inside of loud dark buildings, work in or around water, and on uneven ground.

This position is subject to Post and Bid but all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to Department of Fish and Game employees currently in the Fish and Wildlife Technician classification.
