Job Description:
Under the direction of the Chief Engineer, the Stationary Engineer, C. F., is assigned to the Boiler Room operates, maintains, and repairs steam boilers, water softeners, heat exchangers, and refrigeration equipment located in the boiler room. The Stationary Engineer assigned to the boiler room will work one of two shifts. The hours of the first shift are 0400 - 1200(noon). The hours of the second shift are 1130 - 1930. The boiler room is manned seven days a week, holidays included. Stationary Engineers will establish a preventive maintenance schedule for the lubriication, adjustment , and inspection of all equipment in the boiler room and central laundry.
