The Department of State Hospitals is currently accepting applications for a permanent full-time Systems Software Specialist II (Tech) position. Do you like to create custom web sites using HTML, JavaScript and CSS? Would you like to get your hands under the hood of SharePoint and build content-based, dynamic web sites using tools like Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustration, and SharePoint designer?

Do you understand how each part of SharePoint fits into developing web publishing sites using Microsoft and compatible technologies including SharePoint 2010 / 2013, SharePoint Designer, and HTML/JavaScript or are you eager to learn?

The Department of State Hospitals is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a SharePoint 2010/2013 Developer/Administrator and system integrator in support of State Hospital’s services and programs.


We are looking for someone with experience as a Administrator and Technical Lead for Internet/Intranet Web using SharePoint 2010 / 2013 and HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Role will be responsible for implementing moving DSH intranet into an Enterprise SharePoint website.

Assures successful application interfaces and communication across diverse technology platforms. Assesses impacts of new or proposed change requests. Clearly defines problems, assess alternatives objectively and collectively reaches a solution to the customer’s satisfaction. Functions as a facilitator in order to ensure common understanding amongst state hospital customers and IT developers. Responsible for analysis, programming, testing, documentation, implementation and customer acceptance/satisfaction.


SharePoint 2010/2013 publishing, development, and/or administration experience, workflow development using SharePoint Designer and/or Visual Studio, InfoPath Forms development, experience with SDLC (software development lifecycle) and ALM (application lifecycle management).
