Part 3 - Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS SECTION 1


When responding to the following questions related to the various patterns available to meet minimum qualifications, you will need to address each question separately based on your experience. When counting your experience to respond to these questions, be careful not to double count (do not count the same experience twice). If you use experience to meet the requirements for one minimum qualifications pattern question, you may not use that same experience toward another minimum qualifications pattern question. Experience for the second minimum qualifications pattern must be additional experience not already counted/indicated.


ASSISTANT PROPERTY APPRAISER

California State Civil Service

1. Indicate below the number of months of experience you have in California State Service performing property appraisal duties of a class equivalent to Junior Property Appraiser.

For Questions 2, 3, and 4, you may only count experience gained while working outside of the California State Civil Service.

Please be aware that the work experience used to qualify for the Assistant exam will not carry forward to the Associate exam. You are taking two exams at the same time and each experience section will be evaluated separately. If you are taking the Associate exam, you must continue answering the questions below.

ASSOCIATE PROPERTY APPRAISER

California State Civil Service

1. Indicate below the number of months of experience you have in California State Service performing property appriasal duties of a class equivalent to Assistant Property Appraiser. (Board of Equalization).

To continue with this examination, you must meet the minimum requirements for one and/or both of the Assistant Property Appraiser or Associate Property Apprasier classifications. The following questions are designed to determine if you meet the minimum qualifications for each classification. After each question follow the directions which apply to you.
